Manitou Group has signed an exclusive 12-month partnership with Kiloutou to electrify used telehandlers initially launched with a combustion engine. The upgrade of these machines will extend their life while reducing the environmental impact, regardless of the tightening of regulations put in place in the fight against climate change.
WAREHOUSE TOTAAL (Netherlands) - February 2023
Manitou Group opens a new automated system for its parts center. The system, supplied by Mecalux, is set to increase productivity of high-turnover small parts, which account for nearly 16,000 references. Today, with only two operators, this system accommodates more than 20,000 containers on 560 m², enabling the process of 500 order lines per hour.
SOFART (Denmark) - January 2023
The French company Neoline, with which Manitou Group has been involved since 2020, is bringing to fruition its project for a ro-ro cargo ship powered mainly by wind energy.
The 136-meter vessel will have a cargo capacity of 5,300 tons of cargo and will be equipped with a rigging system provided by Chantiers de l'Atlantique. The wind-powered cargo ship will sail from Saint-Nazaire (France) to Baltimore (United States) starting in 2025.

Manitou Group has announced sales of €2.36 billion in 2022, an increase of 26% over the previous year and is already forecasting a further increase of more than 20% in 2023. At the end of 2022, the group presented the first telehandler equipped with a green hydrogen fuel cell. The company was announcing its ambition to combine electric and hydrogen-powered products according to the applications of each user, with a target of "43% of low-emission products sold by 2030".

Manitou Group is embarking on an ambitious path with machines running on hydrogen. After the recent electrification of its rough-terrain aerial work platform and telescopic handler ranges, the group is also banking on hydrogen as a medium-term alternative for its users. The company has set itself the goal of marketing 43% of low-emission products by 2030.

Manitou Group announces the acquisition of an 82% majority stake in the French company easyLi, located near Poitiers, specializing in the design and production of lithium-ion batteries. This strategic operation will provide the group with specific skills in the context of its energy transition.

With the acquisition of the Italian company GI.ERRE SRL, Manitou Group strengthens the quality of service offered to customers in the Emilia Romagna region. With 23 years of experience, GI.ERRE SRL manages a wide range of activities, including the service and maintenance of Manitou machines and rental. The company is based in Castelfranco, where the Italian headquarters of the group is also located.
TRADE LINK MEDIA (Singapore) - October 2022
At the BAUMA construction machinery trade show in Munich, Manitou Group is unveiling four new 100% electric aerial work platform models, including three all-terrain versions ranging from 16 to 20 meters. The objective is to accelerate the deployment of its electric ranges by reducing the total cost of ownership for the user while presenting innovations offering greater safety to users.

Manitou Group reports third quarter 2022 revenues of €575 million, up 33% from the same period in 2021. Cumulative nine-month revenues for 2022 amount to €1,631 million, up 16% compared to the first nine months of 2021.

In order to increase its development in the aerial work platform segment, Manitou Group announced at the end of August the acquisition of all the intellectual property of ATN Platforms, a French company specializing in the design and manufacture of so-called vertical work platforms.
AGROPORTAL (Czechia) - August 2022
Thanks to a significant acceleration in production and deliveries in the second quarter, Manitou Group closes the first half of 2022 with a 9% increase in sales compared to June 2021.
For the year 2022, the forecasted sales growth of more than 20% compared to 2021 is maintained.

The second issue of the group's 100% CSR event, broadcast on its Youtube channel, attracted nearly 500 internet users. The aim of this program is to present the group's CSR roadmap through the actions carried out over the last 12 months and those to come for the following year. In order to involve its stakeholders, many testimonies took place with the exclusive participation of Laurent Bataille, Managing Director France of Schneider Electric, Fabrice Bonnifet, CSR Director of the Bouygyes Group, or the company Arcelor Mittal.

Manitou Group has been awarded a prize at the European Rental Awards in the category "Product of the 2022 year" for its ULM (Manitou Ultra-Light) telescopic forklift truck launched a few weeks ago. This award is given by the ERA, the European association of the major equipment rental companies in Europe.

Presented in early June, the Manitou group's range of articulated loaders extends with 12 new models: 6 Manitou and 6 Gehl. These machines are mainly intended for the agriculture, construction, landscaping and horticulture sectors.
MOVICARGA (Spain) - May 2022
Manitou brand is launching a media campaign on electrical energy. The group intends to reinforce its commitment to its energy transition and affirm its ambitions as a responsible leader. Seven new electric models will be presented at the Bauma construction trade fair in October.
KONEPÖRSSI (Finland) - April 2022
Manitou group is expanding its network with the announcement of a majority shareholding in its Finnish dealer Lifttek. Official dealer since 2012 for agricultural and construction equipment, the first collaboration between the two players dates back to 2003.
OUEST FRANCE (France) - March 2022
Manitou group inaugurated its 10th production site. Located in Candé (Maine-et-Loire) in France, this new factory dedicated to rough-terrain aerial work platforms covers 80,000 m² of area for 18,000 m² of industrial buildings. The group has invested 26 million euros to benefit from this new production tool in order to support its long-term growth as well as its energy transition with the assembly of new electric models.
LIFT AND ACCESS (United States) - February 2022
In order to achieve the objectives set in its New Horizon 2025 roadmap, Manitou group is announcing a massive investment plan of €70 million ($80 million) for its two North American production sites. It will be used in particular for the extension of the sites, the strengthening of innovation, and the development of new ranges.

Fully embedded into the “New Horizons 2025” roadmap, the ecological transition represents a real challenge for the group. To carry out its 2030 low carbon pathway, the group has set itself two ambitious and realistic targets: reduce its direct and indirect carbon emissions by 46%, while reducing the CO2 emissions of machines by 34% per hour of use.
