6th edition of the “Elevation Days” at Manitou Group

The 2019 "Elevation Days" takes place from 16 to 20 September. This event allows the Manitou Group's 4,400 employees to mobilize through several workshops and conferences focused on sustainable development during the all week.

For the 6th consecutive year, Manitou Group is organizing the "Elevation Days", a week dedicated to sustainable development. This event, proposed to all the employees, meets three objectives:

1. Raise employee awareness of the Manitou group's CSR* approach
2. Develop employees' skills by enabling them to take height on today's social, societal and environmental challenges
3. Accelerate CSR on business issues

For this 2019 edition - whose theme is "I am a change agent" - nearly fifty events are organized in all the countries where Manitou Group is represented. Among them: a conference of the WWF** NGO on the theme "Climate Emergency and Energy Transition", workshops on eco-design, or a play to raise awareness of professional equality. One of the highlights of this 6th edition is also the "I am a change agent" mobilization campaign, which allows each employee to share on social networks a commitment (current or future) to sustainable development.

As every year, "Elevation Days" are also an opportunity to reward employees' CSR initiatives at the "Challenge Elevation" awards ceremony. Forty-seven projects were submitted by employees in two categories: good day-to-day practices and structuring projects for the company.

This event is an opportunity for Manitou Group to reiterate its commitment to sustainable development and accelerate CSR to facilitate the achievement of the Group's 2022 objectives.
